Google Maps Introduces Offline Map Feature Now

Google has launched offline map feature for their android users in Google Maps version 6.9, now you can download the map for the region you want to use offline.

When you want to use Google maps you can used it without any data network or without wifi network. It was always a drawback of Google maps that you can not use it without data connection, in a place where data network or mobile network is not available it is difficult to navigate or find your location. In previous version Google maps has launched the offline cache feature but this was limited to 10mile square area. Now you can download your desired offline map tile without any limitation and can use it after when you need it. For other Google map feature e.g. direction find ATM landmark etc you need a working data connection.

Now there is no need to keep a paper map with you to found your way.
