The major Smartphones brands like Samsung, Apple, OnePlus, Xiaomi release
incremental updates to their phones time to time. These updates includes security patches, bug rectifications, new features, new version of Android etc. But their update process generally very slow and released by country or region specific. Some time it will take 2-3 months to release the same update by their servers to your country that is very frustrating and irritating. And even some time new updates not released in particular countries.

If you do not want to wait to update your phone for some major and important update e.g. Android Pie that is rollover these days by many smartphone, follow these simple steps:

Install VPN app to your smartphone e.g. Secure VPN, after installing, tap over auto button and choose the country manually where the update already has been released. After VPN is connected, you can check for updates in your mobile update settings. You can see now that update is available. Tap to install the update. The drawback of this process is that downloading speed is very slow. When update downloading is started you can turn off the VPN. This will continue downloading the update file using your home server.
