For this thing you require to install Google Slides App from Play Store. After installing open the app, by default this app will show you Power Point Files saved on your Google Drive. You can also open the PPT files saved on your mobile’s local storage. After opening the selected PPT file you will see cast icon on the top if your Chrome Cast is powered on and connected to your TV. Just tap over this icon and now you can play your presentations even using your Smart-Phones.

There is some compatibility issue with this Google slides with the PPT files created in Microsoft Office, but it is most of it works OK.

Other methods to run PPT files from mobile to TV using ChromeCast

There are some another option available to run PPT on TV. One traditional option is make PDF file from PPT and screen mirror your mobile to watch PPT on TV.
