6 ways to translate English to Hindi from Word file

  • You can also translate whole document but it will open in default browser of your PC to complete this task. For this select “Translate document” option.

2. Translate using Microsoft translator app

Download Microsoft translator app from Microsoft store. If you want to use offline translation you can also download offline “language pack” for this.

After installation of translator app, click over launch to open the app. Now tap / click over the three dots at right side, click over language packs. You can select many language from here Hindi, Tamil, Urdu, Bangla, etc. Click on the down arrow to start download language pack.

If you are not able to see download arrow, slightly broaden the window using mouse to see download button.

After completion of download, the language pack will be shown at left side of installed language list.

3. Translate using Onedrive

Using Onedrive you can also translate English to Hindi.

Follow the following steps to translate using Onedrive:

  • Upload the document in the Onedrive
  • Open the document using onedrive Word application
  • Now in the review tab, you will found translate button
  • From here you can translate selected texts or the complete document

4. Translate using Google Drive

With the help of google drive you can also translate a word document.

Follow the following steps to translate a document in Google Drive:

  • Upload the document in Google Drive
  • Now open the document using Google Doc
  • Under tools tab, you will found “translate document” option
  • The translated document can be saved in new file

Further you can also install Google doc “add-on” to translate your selected texts in the document. To do this open Add-ons > get add-ons tab, search Translate+ and install this add on.

After completing installation, launch this by following steps

Open add-ons >Translate+ > start > and now translate+ will be shown at right side of document, similar to MS Office translate pan.

5. Translation using online tools

There are many online tools available on web, that can do this job for you, the most popular is Google Translator. Others are Bing translator by Microsoft, Indiatyping, easy hindi typing etc.

Using these online tools, you can copy paste the texts after translation to your desired location.

6. Translation English to Hindi using mobile apps

Google translator and Microsoft translator apps are available free for Android and iOS. You can also download offline language package of your preferred language to translate when not connected with internet.

For example, if you are planning to travel abroad. You can download in advance, offline language packs at your home country. Because in roaming it will be difficult to use internet.
